How long is each individual therapy session?
Each individual therapy session at ElloMind lasts 50 minutes. This duration is the clinical standard and allows enough time to explore your concerns in depth while maintaining focus and momentum.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your goals, the nature of your concerns, and how you respond to therapy. Some clients find meaningful progress in 6–8 sessions, while others benefit from longer-term work. Your therapist will discuss a personalised plan with you after the initial assessment.
Is everything I share in therapy confidential?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. Everything you share with your therapist is kept strictly confidential, in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). The only exceptions are situations involving imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, as required by law.
Can I switch therapists if I feel the fit isn't right?
Yes, of course. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. If you feel your current therapist isn't the right fit, simply let us know and we'll help you transition to another psychologist on our team — no questions asked.
